SHOW YOUR PRIDE IN THE CHAMBER
The Garrard County Chamber of Commerce has a limited number of embroidered golf shirts available to Chamber members. The shirts are white cotton with blue embroidery and range from size S to XXL. Since these shirts are extra roomy, you may need to purchase a smaller size than usual. Stop by the Chamber office at 656 Stanford Road or call Susan at 792-2282 to purchase your shirt.
New Officers and Directors
At its November meeting, the board of directors of the Garrard County Chamber of Commerce elected officers and directors. Serving a two year term, Christa Osborne was unanimously elected president. Serving a one year term, Betty Doolin was elected vice-president. Susan Ledford will remain the secretary/ treasurer.
Incoming directors serving a three year term are Marilyn Prewitt, Sean Cundiff, and Nathan Mick.

Going to college just got easier for the residents of Garrard County! The Bluegrass Community and Technical College District will be offering an expanded college class schedule at the Lancaster Education Center, 67 Public Square, Lancaster this fall.

The Maps Are Here!
The long awaited Lancaster/Garrard County maps are now available. These are up to date, gridded, full-color maps that include detailed maps of various areas of the county as well as points of interest.
Advertisers may pick up bulk quatities in the Chamber office. Individuals are limited to a single map but may donate $1.00 to help defray the Chamber's cost. If a map is to be mailed, we suggest a $1.00 donation to help defray the cost of postage and handling.

Foster Parent Training
Sunrise Children's Services, a faith-based foster care provider, is beginning a New Foster Parent Training Class on Saturday, May 3, 2008.
